Axon Tracts in Embryonic Zebrafish
A whole mount zebrafish at 48 hours postfertilization was incubated in anti-acetylated tubulin primary antibody which labeled axon tracts. In the opening frame of the movie, rostral is in the lower right, caudal is in the upper left and dorsal is toward the viewer. Prominent in this movie are retinal ganglion cell axons exiting the retinas, forming the optic nerves and crossing at the midline to the optic chiasm. In this early embryo, the optic nerves have not yet reached the tectum. (Drs. Babb and Marrs)

Point Spread Function
0.5 micrometer green fluorescent beads were imbeded in agarose and the volume was imaged using Bio-rad two photon microscopic system.(Dr. Dunn)

E-cadherin Localization in a Zebrafish
A whole mount zebrafish at 30 hours postfertilization was incubated in anti-zebrafish E-cadherin primary antibody and texas red secondary antibody then imaged using a Bio-rad 2-photon micro-scope. E-caderherin is localized to cell-cell contacts in the epiderimis and in the paired pronephros. In the openning fram of this movie, rostral is up, caudal is down, dorsal is left, and ventral is right. (Drs. Babb and Marrs)
