New tutorials section: In response to several requests we have added a tutorials section to the website to address protocol questions. Topics recently addressed include colocalization, FRET, and live cell imaging. Check back regularly for guides on other microscopy techniques.

Obrien Center: NIH funding to continue the George M. O'Brien Center for Advanced Renal Microscopic Analysis has been approved. The center is dedicated to developing novel imaging techniques and providing services to other renal researchers.

The center is conducting its third advanced microscopy workshop April 26-29, 2011. Details are available at www.nephrology.iupui.edu/obrien-workshop2011.

Shared Equipment Grant: The new Olympus Fluoview 1000 MPE confocal/ multiphoton microscope has been installed and is available for use. Please contact Jeff Clendenon for training.
